What The Hack Open Air Hackertreffen in Holland 2005 |
|
|
What The Hack ist eine Open Air Hacker-Konferenz, die alle 4 Jahre im
Süden der Niederlande stattfindet. |
28. bis 31. Juli 2005 gemeinsam mit Pentaklon und Pyonen |
| When it's getting dark in Liempde, it's getting beautifully colorful. About 150 light installations wrap the center of What The Hack in soft yellow and red colors, along the roads green and blue colors are playing with the trees. Moritz from Pentaklon, who set up our lightgames together with AndrŽ from Artevent/Pyonen, their teams and volunteers, sees the purpose of the installation in giving order to the space: "People should find their way around and at the same time their eyes don't stop discovering new things." Nature is integral part of the light art, that is highlighting trees at night and giving orientation. The Rocket is touring the CCC-congresses for years and is also at What The Hack not missing, marking the area of the CCC Village at the entrance of the main field. The piazza is highlighted with an installation of yellow flags, used as lampshades. Special effort was also put in the installation in the Megabit Tent. Four large vans, one truck and one Hanomag (ask folks from Berlin about that one) have brought light and dia-projectors from Germany to the Netherlands, 3 km of cable have been layed by our light artists. | Auszug aus dem WTH Camp-Wiki |
